This year, Xinjiang authorities have specially recruited more than 7,100 teachers to rural schools from across the country. After 11 days of free training, they will start their career in the new semester.

The 7114 teachers were selected from over 80,000 applicants. They will teach in 76 counties and cities of 12 prefectures in XJ for 3 years.

From 2006 to 2009, XJ had specially hired 11,700 teachers to rural schools. This not only helps rural areas strengthen the teaching resources, but also promotes education at grassroot.
