As the new semester is approaching, 976 students from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Tibet Autonomous Region will be admitted by scores of middle schools in Shanghai.

The number of schools and classes in inland provinces opened especially for students of ethnic minority in Xinjiang will be increased this year. The No.1 middle school in Songjiang will also open some classes exclusive for students from Xinjiang. The number of classes of this kind in Chuansha middle school will be increased to 4, according to Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
