Under the "Spring Rain Project" by the Ministry of Culture, a batch of volunteers from Beijing municipality staged its first cultural performance in Urumqi on August 31, providing a feast of culture for local citizens and promoting cultural exchanges between Xinjiang and Beijing.

In the following eight days, the performance group will also hold cultural activities in Hotan City, Karakax and Keriya counties.
