Farmers' painting exhibition held in Xinjiang

A painting exhition of farmers in Guangdong province opened on the morning of August 21. Co-organized by Department of Culture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Department of Culture of Guangdong province, this exhibition is aimed at further increasing the cultural exchange between the two sides, promoting cultural construction of the new-type socialist villages, and creating a harmonious cultural environment for the leapfrog development and lasting stability in Xinjiang.

The exhibition displayed 100 paintings of farmers in Guangdong province. It is learned that those works will also be exhibited in Kashgar on August 26.
