A calligraphy exhibition organized by China Calligraphers Association was held in Piqan County, Xinjiang on August 28. An awarding ceremony was also held to name Piqan County the "Hometown of Chinese Calligraphy". During the ceremony, over 100 calligraphy lovers showed their own skills in calligraphy.
