Bayingolin will complete the comfortable housing project for 700,000 households of farmers and herdsmen in the following three years, a message reporter learned from the Construction Bureau of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture on August 30.
Since the starting of anti-quake and comfortable housing project in 2004, Bayingolin has constructed 75, 000 suits of anti-quake and comfortable houses, a move benefiting 200,000 farmers and herdsmen in Xinjiang. This year, it plans to build 10,940 suits of house, 4,486 of which have been completed.
Central government and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have distributed 10,000 Yuan to each household. It is required that each anti-quake and comfortable house should cover no less than 80 square meters, according to Ge Ming, director of Bayingolin Construction Bureau.
It is also learned that the already built anti-quake and comfortable houses which cover less than 80 square meters will all be renovated before 2018. |
