Xinjiang imported more food in 2014

The Entry Exit Inspection and Quarantine Portal in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region reported that the province has imported nearly 200,000 tons of goods worth $ 160 million in 2014, a rise of more than 30 percent and 100 percent more than 2013, according to news yaxin.com.

The top five imported goods were medicine material, fried nut fruit, oilseed, sugar and cakes and biscuits, and they are mainly from Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries.
