A policeman came to the rescue on Dec 21 by escorting a woman, who had entered into labor, to a hospital in in Karamay city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Dec 21.
Mu Zhicheng, a police from the city’s Kequ branch, was on patrol when he saw a man waving his hand anxiously on the road. He stopped the car and learned that the man’s wife was about to give birth to a child, and he could not find a car to the hospital.
Upon hearing this, Mu went the man’s home immediately and drove his wife to the city’s People Hospital and didn’t leave until the doctor and nurse had come to attend to the pregnant woman.
Mu followed up with his good deed by going to see the newborn child the next day; Mr Wang also expressed his gratitude to Mu.
