Xu Guixiang: Good morning, dear friends. Welcome to the press conference on Xinjiang related issues held in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The press conference today has special theme, mainly focusing on the so-called “Uygur Tribunal”.

On May 25, we held a news conference special at the press conference held in Beijing. In the past two days, we have also noticed that the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” held a so-called “hearing” which roped in a group of “actors and actresses” who staged a series of poor performances. Therefore, it is necessary to further expose the ugly faces of the “actors and actresses” and disclose the evil acts of the so-called “Uygur Tribunal”.

First of all, I would like to introduce the people attending today’s press conference. Elijan Anayat, spokesman of People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; Gulnar Obul, Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; Erken Samsaq, Deputy Dean of the Law School of Xinjiang University; Yan Feifei, leader of the Economic Investigation Brigade of Public Security Bureau of Zhaosu County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture; Su Lunguo, a teacher of the central kindergarten in Chahanwusu Township, Zhaosu County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture; Pazil Ziyaoden, the younger brother of Tursunay Ziyaoden; Tajigul Ablajan, the neighbor of Tursunay Ziyaoden; Marhaba Abduwupur, the younger sister of Xamxinur Wupur; Abduheili Dawut, the fifth brother of Zaomure Dawut; Wang Juan, doctor of Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Hospital; Akbar Tursun, younger brother of Mirigul Tursun; Abibaimu Imit, wife of Mahmut Taiwaikuli. They will answer your questions.

In addition, we are very pleased to have invited several foreign media reporters in Beijing, who will interact with you through online video connection. Now I’d like to briefly introduce the context for holding this press conference.

Recently, the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” set up by anti-China forces from US and some western countries and “East Turkistan” organizations, such as “World Uygur Congress” held a “hearing” on June 4 in spite of the strong opposition of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and the questioning of the international community. They invited a group of anti-China people and so-called “experts and scholars” to “testify in court”, trying to prove Xinjiang related “genocide” that doesn’t exist at all. An illegal court held a “hearing” about a century lie. It is nothing but a despicable performance in defiance of the authority of law.

At the press conference on Xinjiang related issues held in Beijing, the illegality of this “Uygur Tribunal” was exposed from the perspective of jurisprudence, and the illegal deeds and bad behaviors of 14 so-called “witnesses” were also disclosed with a large amount of proofs. We repeatedly stressed the illegality and incredibility of the so called “court”, an absurd anti-China farce produced out of the collusion between a handful of US and some western anti-China forces and overseas “East Turkistan” forces. their purpose is to link vocational education and training work in Xinjiang to “genocide” and put “genocide” label on Xinjiang. Today we hold the press conference on Xinjiang related issues in order to further expose the evil purpose of this pseudo court, to further disclose the ugly and awkward performance of these so-called “witnesses”, and let the international community see more clearly the hypocrisy and absurdity of this pseudo court.

Xu Guixiang: Now, please raise your hands to ask questions. First, the journalist from China Daily, please ask your questions.

China Daily: Thank you, host. I’m from China Daily. You just mentioned that the “Uygur Tribunal” was “an illegal court”. Does this so-called “court” belong to the international judicial system? What kind of organization is this? Thank you.

Xu Guixiang: We’d better invite professionals to answer professional questions, and Erken Samsaq, deputy dean of Law School of Xinjiang University, will answer your questions.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Erken Samsaq, vice dean of Xinjiang University's Law School answers questions at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Erken Samsaq: Thank you for your questions. I will explain the illegality of this so-called “Uygur Tribunal” from the perspective of law. First of all, the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” is not a court. In terms of the so-called “court opening” and “hearing”, some people will mistakenly think that the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” is an international judicial institution. However, anyone who has a little knowledge of the international judicial system will know that it is a pseudo court without any international status and judicial functions. There is no basis for its establishment.

From the perspective of international justice, the establishment of a legal international judicial body needs strict legal basis. According to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, international law, international customary law and relevant cases, as the most serious international crime, the confirmation of the crime of genocide needs to go through authoritative and strict legal procedures. Since the birth of the Convention on the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide, the main cases of genocide are mostly determined by the International Court of Justice established in accordance with the Convention or the statute or the special court authorized by the United Nations Security Council. The “Uygur Tribunal” was just founded by some people with ulterior motives, without seriousness and authority. According to the Convention, cases of the crime of genocide are either under the jurisdiction of the competent court of the state in which the act is committed, or are tried by the International Criminal Court whose jurisdiction the State Party has accepted. Some individual national courts have also heard cases of genocide taking place in their own territory. Except for the above, no country, organization or individual has the qualification and right to arbitrarily determine that other countries commit the crime of genocide. As an illegal organization set up by the conspiracy of Western anti-China politicians, lawyers and the “World Uygur Congress”, the “Uygur Tribunal” has no right to conduct “hearings”, let alone its attempt to confirm an extremely serious international crime.

From the perspective of non-governmental organizations, the “Uygur Tribunal” is also illegal. According to British law, the establishment and operation of relevant courts are governed by the Charity Act 2011. The “Uygur Tribunal” claimed to investigate the Chinese government’s “persistent atrocities and possible genocide”. Its establishment seems to be in line with the so-called “charity” purpose of that law and seems to be a legal organization, but the authenticity of its purpose is not recognized, and it does not have the charter and trusteeship council that a legal organization should have. Therefore, the “Uygur Tribunal” does not meet the registration requirements of “charitable” organizations stipulated in the Charity Act 2011 of the United Kingdom, and has not obtained the government financial support required by the act. It can be determined that it is not an organization recognized by British law.

It is very clear that this “Uygur Tribunal” has nothing to do with the law. It is a joke in itself. It just embezzles the name of the “court”. Any “judgment” or “ruling” it makes is a piece of waste paper.

Xu Guixiang: Thanks to Professor Erken Samsaq for his answer. Now journalist from Xinjiang Daily, please ask questions.

Xinjiang Daily: Thank you, host. I’m a reporter from Xinjiang Daily. If this “Uygur Tribunal” has neither the status of international law nor legality, what is the purpose of its establishment? thank you.

Xu Guixiang: let’s invite Mr. Elijan Anayat answer this question.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Elijan Anayat, spokesman of People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region answers questions at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Elijan Anayat: As was mentioned just now, the “Uygur Tribunal” is neither a legal “judicial organ” nor “judicial procedure” as we all understand. It is just a pseudo court without seriousness and authority, made up by people with ulterior motives. With the stance of “presumption of guilt”, this false court despicably “heard” a century lie, which is a serious violation of the international law order, a serious blasphemy to the real victims of “genocide”, and a serious provocation to the 25 million people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. In the so-called “hearing” conducted by such a group of people, they talked wantonly without any evidence. They maliciously planted when they couldn’t find any accusation basis, and searched for actors and actresses to perform when they couldn’t find witness. The so-called “trial” concocted by such a group of people is just a absurd farce aimed to vilify Xinjiang and “curb China with Xinjiang”, which will only make the world see the despicable lies and slanders related to Xinjiang more clearly.

Xu Guixiang: Thanks to Mr. Elijan Anayat. Now journalist from China News Service, please ask your questions.

China News Service: Hello, I’m a reporter from China News Service. What is the background of this so-called “Uygur Tribunal”? thank you.

Xu Guixiang: We will invite Gulnar Obul, a chairperson, to answer this question.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Gulnar Obul, Vice chairman of Xinjiang Association for Science and Technology answers questions at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Gulnar Obul: According to some reference, the “Uygur Tribunal” was established in the form of limited company guaranteed by an individual in the UK. In the UK, privately guaranteed companies are generally applicable to associations, charities and so on. That is to say, this is a completely civil society, a genuine pseudo court.

The direct financial backer behind the puppet court is “World Uyghur Congress”. In order to achieve the goal of “East Turkistan independence”, in recent years, the “World Uygur Congress” has been stepping up its links with the “East Turkistan” terrorist organization ETIM and other organizations, plotting terrorist attacks and separatist activities. In 2009, July 5 riot, a terrorist attack involving serious smashing, looting, burning in Xinjiang was instigated and plotted by this organization behind the scenes. They have also been colluding with anti-China politicians and “cooperating” with some western media, providing so-called “insider” stuff related to Xinjiang, and wantonly attacking and smearing Xinjiang. Recently, the “World Uygur Congress” has funded the establishment of the so-called “Uyghur Tribunal” with another 235,000 pounds. They attempted in vain to disrupt the overall stability and development of Xinjiang by using false witnesses, false scholars, false information, false videos and false photos, and stealing the name of the law. Such a nondescript “court”, an organization controlled by a terrorist organization, falsely accuse and slander Xinjiang. The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang will never tolerate their evil acts.

Xu Guixiang: Thank you. Now journalist from Xinhua News Agency, please ask your questions.

Xinhua News Agency: Thank you, host. I’m a reporter from Xinhua News Agency. What “evidence” has the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” produced? Are these “evidences” true? thank you.

Xu Guixiang: Mr. Elijan Anayat will arrange some relevant people to answer this question.

Elijan Anayat: In order to piece together this “false court” which aimed to discredit Xinjiang, the “Uygur Tribunal” has found some “witnesses” to testify. Previously, we disclosed the so-called “testimony” of these “witnesses”. In order to see their true colors more clearly, today, we have invited some relatives, colleagues of the “witnesses” and police officers in charge of their cases to introduce the real situation to you.

First of all, let’s invite Yan Feifei, leader of the Economic Investigation Brigade of Public Security Bureau of Zhaosu County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, to introduce the situation of Shayilaguli Shawutibayi, the perjury.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Yan Feifei speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Yan Feifei: I am Yan Feifei, leader of the Economic Investigation Brigade of Public Security Bureau of Zhaosu County Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. I have handled the case of Shayilaguli Shawutibayi.

Shayilaguli Shawutibayi said she had taught at the vocational education and training center and later changed her claim and said she had been held in “concentration camps”. In fact, Shayilaguli Shawutibayi never taught at the vocational education and training center or studied there. She told lies and what she said is sheer nonsense. She was also suspected of stealing the border of the country and the crime of loan fraud.

First, Shayilaguli Shawutibayi was suspected of illegally crossing the border. On April 5, 2018, she illegally crossed the border to Kazakhstan, and her behavior has been suspected of the crime of illegally crossing the national border.

Secondly, Shayilaguli Shawutibayi is suspected of loan fraud. On June 23, 2015, in the name of purchasing an apartment, she made a loan at Chahanwusu Township credit cooperative affiliated to Zhaosu County Rural Credit Cooperative Association and defrauded Kulaixia Mu’ersali, the teacher of the Central Primary School of Chahanwusu Township, to provide a guarantee of a loan of 80,000 yuan, with a 10-year repayment period. The actual amount of the guarantee in the contract signed at the Rural Credit Cooperative was changed into 200,000 yuan. The signature of co-guarantor, Saishanbieke Dawulieti (Kulaixia Mu’ersali’s husband) was forged. The signature of the joint debtor, Wuwali Silamu (Shayilaguli Shawutibayi’s husband), was also forged. The certificate of the borrower’s employment organization required for the loan was altered. On November 30, 2016, she made a loan of 270,000 yuan on the ground of buying an apartment at Chahanwusu Township credit cooperative affiliated to Zhaosu County Rural Credit Cooperative Association and defrauded Batemengke Baixia, the teacher of the Central Primary School of Chahanwusu Township, to provide the guarantee of loan with a repayment period of 10 years. During the loan process, the purchase contract provided by Shayilaguli Shawutibayi to the credit cooperative was a false contract. The total amount of the above two loans is 470,000 yuan, and both of them were transferred in batches to the overseas account of his husband, Wuwali silamu. Up to now, a total of 398,000 yuan loan has not been repaid. Shayilaguli Shawutibayi fled abroad on April 5, 2018, and it has been proved that she has no intention of repaying the loan and is suspected of fraud of loan.

Elijan Anayat: We will invite Su lunguo, a teacher of the central kindergarten in Chahanwusu Township, Zhaosu County, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, to introduce the situation of Shayilaguli Shawutibayi.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Su Lunguo speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Su Lunguo: My name is Su Lunguo. Shayilaguli Shawutibayi used to be the director of the central kindergarten in Chahanwusu Township, Zhaosu County. I am a teacher of this kindergarten.

Shayilaguli Shawutibayi is a habitual liar and has very bad conduct. When she was at the post of director, she took advantage of her post to defraud performance bonuses, infringe on teachers’ interests, and often oppress her colleagues. The most hateful thing is that she also abused children. Some children’s parents are running shops, and she went to that store to buy things without paying for it or asked for goods directly. If the parents of any child refused to give her, she would forbid the child to have meals, would not allow the child to go to the toilet, seeing the child pee in pants, and would even beat the child. Some of the children she abused even dare not go to the kindergarten. Parents had nothing to do to help but give her a gift. Some of them chose to report and complain to the Education Bureau. After she was removed from her post, parents of children and colleagues clapped their hands to cheer. We can not believe a single word from such a person like her.

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Pazil Ziyaoden, Tursunay Ziyaoden’s younger brother to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Tursunay Ziyaoden.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Pazil Ziyaoden speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Pazil Ziyaoden: My name is Pazil Ziyaoden. I am the younger brother of Tursunay Ziyaoden.

My sister said that that she was forced to undergo sterilization. This is totally untrue. My sister got married in 2002, divorced in 2005, and got married again in 2008. She went to Kazakhstan in 2011 and lived there for five years. She returned to China in 2016, and then went to Kazakhstan in 2018. So far she has not come back. For so many years, she has not given any birth because of her infertility. She has never been forced to undergo sterilization operation. What she said is untrue.

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Tajigul Ablajan, Tursunay Ziyaoden’s neighbour to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Tursunay Ziyaoden.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Tajigul Ablajan speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Tajigul Ablajan: My name is Tajigul Ablajan, and Tursunay Ziyaoden is my former neighbor. I know her very well. She is a habitual liar.

In March 2005, I was pregnant for two months. One day, Tursunay Ziyaoden came to my home and took me to the backyard. She took an empty bottle out of her pocket and asked me to go to the toilet and put my urine in the bottle. I was very scared at that time. I asked her what she wanted the urine for. She said she wanted to use it and asked me not to tell anyone.

Later, I learned that because she had no fertility, this resulted in her family discord. So she wanted to borrow my urine to have pregnancy test. She falsely claimed that she was pregnant. Soon, her lies were discovered by her then husband, Tursunjan Ahematjan, and they divorced. Just think about it, How could Tursunay Ziyaoden, a woman without fertility be forced to undergo sterilization? How can we believe what she said?

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Marhaba Abduwupu, Xamxinur Wupur’s younger sister to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Xamxinur Wupur.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Marhaba Abduwupur speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Marhaba Abduwupur: I’m Marhaba Abduwupur. My sister Xamxinur Wupur said abroad that in Xinjiang women who have three or more children should have their uterus removed. I was very indignant at her absurd remark. As a medical worker, I have never seen and heard of such things. Our parents gave birth to us 8 children, and I also gave birth to 3 children. We had a very happy life. These stories she made up can’t happen in Xinjiang at all.

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Abduheili Dawut, Zaomure Dawuti’s fifth brother to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Zaomure Dawut.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Abduheili Dawut speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Abduheili Dawut: I’m Abduheili Dawut, the fifth brother of Zaomure Dawut. When Zaomure Dawut was in Xinjiang, we often got together. I can prove that she had never been to the vocational education and training center.

Zaomure Dawut said our father died of being interrogated by the police for many times. I was very angry to hear that. In fact, our father has never been detained or “investigated” and has been living with us. My father died of coronary heart disease.

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Wang Juan, a doctor of Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Hospital, to introduce the situation of Zaomure Dawut.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Wang Juan speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Wang Juan: I am Wang Juan, chief physician of Zaomure Dawut and deputy chief obstetrician of Urumqi Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Zaomure said abroad that she was “forced to undergo sterilization and have her uterus removed”. As a matter of fact, when Zaomure Dawut gave birth to her third child in our hospital, she signed the consent for voluntary delivery, saying that she required cesarean section and ligation. Then, according to her request, we performed cesarean section and ligation for her. There was no removal of the uterus at all. This is the consent with her signature (on-site display). She can go to any hospital have a B ultrasound check. Lies are lies after all!

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Akbar Tursun, Mirigul Tursun’s younger brother, to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Mirigul Tursun.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Akbar Tursun speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Akbar Tursun: I’m Akbar Tursun, Mirigul Tursun’s younger brother. My sister said she had suffered from abuse at the vocational education and training center. In fact, she has never been to vocational education and training center. Our family have never been there and we have been living a good life. She also said that after returning home from the vocational education and training center, her son Muezi died in the hospital. This is even more absurd. I know that my nephew Muezi had been to hospital three times, from January 14 to 19, from May 6 to 12, and from November 4 to 8, 2016. At that time, Mirigul Tursun and my mother together sent my nephew to Urumqi Children’s Hospital for hospitalization. After Muezi recovered from the illness, Mirigul Tursun and her husband took Muezi abroad. The most hateful thing is that she also said that I was maltreated to death in the vocational education and training center. I was very angry at her lie. There is no such elder sister in the world who, in order to defraud for money and green card in the United States, even makes a rumor about her younger brother's life and death!

Elijan Anayat: Now let’s invite Abibam Imit, Mahmut Taiwaikul’s wife, to introduce the situation of the “Perjury” Mahmut Taiwaikul.

Photo taken on June 9, 2021 shows Abibam Imit speaks at the 40th Press Conference on Xinjiang-related Issues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Photo by Xinjiang Daily/ Han Liang

Abibam Imit: My name is Abibam Imit, Mahmut Taiwaikul’s wife, and I have three children.

I heard that Mahmut Taiwaikul said abroad that he had suffered from torture in prison. Before he left our country, I lived with him every day. He never served a sentence in prison.

My eldest daughter Zaynur Mahmut once caught leukemia. In August 2012, I took her to Urumqi for treatment. At that time, as I was running a shop in Urumqi, I sent her to hospital for treatment. But Mahmut Taiwaikul didn’t care about his daughter at all, and he cared little about his family. One day, he suddenly disappeared. Later I learned that he went abroad to join a terrorist organization.

After Mahmut Taiwaikul went abroad, my three children and I encountered many difficulties in life. It was the government that helped us. I enjoyed many good policies, and now my life is getting better and better. Mahmut Taiwaikul, you mercilessly abandoned your old parents, me and three children. You are a beast!

Xu Guixiang: Thank you for your answers. Our reporter friends present have asked questions. We still have some time. Now I would like to invite foreign media reporters in Beijing to ask questions and communicate on some issues through online video connection.

ITV: You just mentioned “Uygur Tribunal”. Today you also invited some relatives and colleagues to accuse those “witnesses” and “testimonies”. You said that the “witnesses” and “testimonies” in Britain were untrue. Which side should we trust?

Xu Guixiang: This question is for me to answer. Today, we have invited some relatives and relevant parties of the people who testified in the so-called “Uygur Tribunal”. Thy were in close contact with the so-called “witnesses”. Some of them lived together with the so-called “witnesses” for a long time, and some of them are investigators of our government departments. With close contact with the so-called “witnesses”, the relatives know their character and behavior best. The evidence and materials provided by relevant personnel in our government departments should be the most authoritative. In my opinion, in the face of facts and the truth, we can all make judgments and choices. I believe that we can all see who is lying and who is deceiving the world’s cognition and make correct judgments.

This so-called “Uygur Tribunal” includes not only the familiar institutions and personnel such as the Australian Institute of strategic policy and Zheng Guo’en (Adrian Zenz), who have been spreading Xinjiang related lies for a long time, but also the “actors and actresses” who fabricated various non-existent so-called “persecution incidents”. We can say that this is a absurd farce performed by the collusion between the anti-China forces of the United States and some western countries and the “East Turkistan” forces abroad. Although they have carried out the so-called “hearing” activities, you can browse the internet to have a look and know how many people pay attention to them, how many people respond to them, and how many people believe their lies. They are just making up and acting a disgusting political manipulation themselves.

In recent years, the prosperity and stability of Xinjiang have made the US and Western anti-China forces and overseas “East Turkistan” forces restless and uneasy. They can not control their anxiety and worry and have taken all measures to manipulate some so-called think tanks and media, having concocted a large number of slanders and false information about Xinjiang in order to confuse and distort the international community. In doing so, they want to disrupt Xinjiang by fabricating lies and let Xinjiang fall into the situation of frequent terrorist attacks, so as to achieve the goal of “curbing China with Xinjiang”. The development and progress of Xinjiang and the strong will of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang to pursue a better life can not be stopped by any anti-china forces. The performances of these contemptible scoundrel can only prove the insidiousness of the plot of US and western anti-China forces. At the same time, their ugly performances can only enable the international community to see the real situation of Xinjiang more clearly and learn more about the achievements obtained by taking anti-terrorism and de-radicalization measures in Xinjiang, and the achievements accomplished in promoting socioeconomic development and protecting and improving people’s livelihood. Although the so-called “Uygur Tribunal” will continue to carry out various activities, the more they perform, the more clearly you will see their ugly nature. As far as Xinjiang is concerned, we will fight back these ugly performances through various forms such as press conferences on Xinjiang related issues.

This is the end of press conference for today. Thank you, spokesmen and journalists.
