An international sniper competition in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has successfully concluded, a Chinese defense spokesperson said Wednesday.
The Sharp Blade 2025 International Sniper Competition saw participation of over 50 sniper teams from more than 20 countries, including Russia, Spain, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates, said Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense.
The competition was hosted by China's People's Armed Police Force, featuring realistic combat conditions, personnel and equipment integration, and technical and tactical synergy, according to Zhang.
The competition has strengthened cooperation and exchanges between the People's Armed Police Force and foreign police and gendarmerie forces, Zhang said.
