On April 4, 2026, the scenic area received 6,214 tourists, generating tourism revenue of 1.93 million yuan (about 28,255 U.S. dollars).

In April, the surface of Tianchi Lake is still covered with clear ice, yet its edges have quietly begun to melt. The snow-capped Bogda Peak in the distance contrasts beautifully with the lush green spruce forests nearby. This unique winter-spring scenery has become one of the most popular spots for outings.

He Jingzhen, a tourist from Zhuhai in China's Guangdong Province, said: “I’d heard from friends that Xinjiang is beautiful, but only after visiting Tianchi Lake in person did I truly appreciate the magnificent rivers and mountains of our motherland. The staff were also very warm and helpful. I’m so happy with this trip and will definitely recommend it to my friends!”

More and more people chose to go out to relax and express their thoughts by enjoying spring scenery. Combining the grandeur of snow-capped mountains and the vitality of forest seas, Tianchi Lake scenic spot has become a top travel choice for many, thanks to its fresh air and poetic spring views.

He Tingting, a tourist from south China's Guangdong Province, said: “I think this trip was well worth it. I came to relax during the holiday. The scenery, snow-capped mountains and green trees at Tianchi Lake are stunning, and the air is incredibly fresh. Going out for a spring outing is far more enjoyable than staying at home.”

Fang Tianqi, a tourist from Northeast China’s Jilin Province, said: “This is my first visit to Tianchi Lake. In 2026, the Tianchi Lake scenic spot has continued to launch inclusive all-for-one tourism policies. Building on measures such as two-day validity for single tickets, free entry for medical workers and teachers during specific periods, and lifetime free entry for local residents and newlyweds, the scenic spot has also signed joint marketing cooperation agreements with travel agencies, implemented preferential policies for special groups, and added discounts for study tour teams. Meanwhile, it has launched special study tour routes focusing on geological exploration, ecological nature, intangible cultural heritage and ideological and political education. These diverse policies have optimized visitor experience, expanded the tourist market and boosted cultural and tourism consumption. Visitors can now enjoy tangible and thoughtful benefits while appreciating the magnificent natural scenery of Tianchi Lake. From January 1 to March 31, 2026, the scenic area received 242,739 tourists, achieving tourism revenue of 121.37 million yuan (about 17.77 million U.S. dollars — an increase of 61 percent compared with the same period last year).
